Scary Monsters and Super Creeps - Book Zone Horror Month 2011

It has been some time since I ran a themed month on The Book Zone, but with October now upon us and so many brilliant horror books published recently I just could not resist another Horror Month with Hallowe'en now getting close. So, in October, you can expect the following:

Reviews of:

Skulduggery Pleasant: Death Bringer by Derek Landy
CRYPT: The Gallows Curse by Andrew Hammond
Mister Creecher by Chris Priestley
This Dark Endeavour by Kenneth Oppel
The Shadowing: Skinned by Adam Slater
Dust and Decay by Jonathan Maberry

Blood Ninja 2: Lord Oda's Revenge
and, time permitting, a good few more.

Guest posts or interviews:

Alexander Gordon Smith
Adam Gidwitz
Chris Priestley

Competitions:

To be revealed

And hopefully lots, lots more so please watch this space.

I will also be telling you about an 'event' called All Hallow's Read, devised by the brilliant Neil Gaiman and I hope to be joined by a number of your favourite horror authors who will be telling us what their All Hallow's Read is.

(naturally planned content is subject to change, etc, etc. Not all posts will be horror related as I have many other books waiting to be reviewed)
